Shaft Dynamic Sensor A non-contact Torque Sensor is a device used to measure torque on a rotating shaft. Its biggest feature is that it adopts a non-contact torque measurement method, which will not interfere with the movement of the measured object during the measurement process.

The torque transducer usually consists of two parts: a vibrator and a measuring transducer. A vibrator converts torque on a rotating shaft into rotational vibration. A measuring sensor detects the amplitude and phase difference of the vibrations to calculate the torque value.

The sensor is more accurate than traditional Torque Sensors because it uses a non-contact measurement method that reduces the effect of friction between the sensor and the measured object. At the same time, due to their fast response and no need for calibration, this type of sensor is suitable for applications requiring high-precision measurement, such as automotive testing, robotic systems, aerospace and marine fields, etc.
